1. Information We Collect

To function properly and provide accurate leaderboards and catch tracking, Project Aether must collect and store specific, limited data from Discord. We only collect the minimum amount of data required to run the Bot's core systems:

• Discord User IDs: Used to uniquely identify users and link them to their personal catch stats and leaderboard rankings.
• Discord Server (Guild) IDs: Used to separate leaderboards by server and manage specific server configurations.
• Command Usage & Tracking Data: The Bot logs when a specific tracking command is used, what was tracked (e.g., the catch data), and the timestamp to accurately update statistics.
• Premium Status: Stored via our integrations (Ko-fi/Buy Me a Coffee) to verify subscription tiers globally across all servers.

Project Aether does NOT log, store, or read the content of your general chat messages. It only reads messages explicitly triggering its commands or relevant tracking parameters.

2. How We Use Your Data

The data collected is used strictly for the operation of Project Aether, specifically to:

• Generate, update, and display real-time community leaderboards.
• Store personal milestones and statistical data for users.
• Ensure the Bot is functioning correctly and debug any errors.

3. Data Sharing and Security

Your data is stored securely. We do not sell, trade, or share your data with any third parties, advertisers, or external organizations. The only entity that processes this data is the Project Aether database itself, operating within Discord's API guidelines.

4. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your User ID and associated tracking data for as long as the Bot remains in the server where the data was generated, or until the data is manually wiped by a server administrator.

Your Right to Deletion: If you wish to have your personal tracking data and User ID permanently removed from the Project Aether database, you can request a full data deletion by opening a ticket in the Project Aether Support Server or contacting us via email.
